The East San Gabriel Valley Japanese Community Center requests the honor of your presence at the 70th Anniversary Celebration.
Since 1951, the ESGVJCC’s mission has been to foster preserve the cultural heritage unique to Japanese American ancestry and to serve the community through social services, artistic, recreational, and educational programs.
This monumental anniversary comes as we rebuild from an unprecedented year where the ESGVJCC faced new challenges brought on by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The ESGVJCC has been able to adapt by shifting many programs to a virtual platform but it really is because of all of you and your support that we were able to move forward and reach this milestone!
Each and every year, and especially last year, we are so grateful for the hard work and dedication that our board, staff, and volunteers put into each and every event and program that makes the ESGVJCC a place we can all call home. With everyone working together to help navigate our new normal, we have been able to continue to provide quality programming for our members. Without you, we would not be here today.
We are fortunate enough to have Chef Ryo Sato cater a delicious meal for our milestone celebration.
The 70th Anniversary Celebration will take place on Saturday, August 28th from 4-7pm in the ESGVJCC Parking Lot. The cost for tickets is $50/seat or $350 for a table of 8. RSVPs are required for this event, please RSVP to the ESGVJCC Office by August 14, 2021. To make this event as safe as possible, all attendees are required to submit proof of COVID-19 vaccination or submit to a COVID-19 rapid test on the event date.
