The ESGVJCC is excited to partner once again with Plaza West Covina and the City of West Covina to present the 2026 Cherry Blossom Festival! This annual festival marks the beginning of spring; the newly emerging blossoms represent hope, beauty, and new life.
Join us at Plaza West Covina to learn more about Japanese culture, indulge in exquisite Japanese and Japanese-American flavors, enjoy traditional music and dance performances, shop at an array of different vendors, and watch Japanese taiko drums and martial arts performances.

75 Years in Bloom Pop-Up Installation at Plaza West Covina
April 10 - May 6
We’re excited to announce our brand new pop-up Cherry Blossom garden activation, “75 Years in Bloom”, at Plaza West Covina!
This vibrant installation will be anchored by a stunning Cherry Blossom Wishing Tree display and an interactive wishing wall. Designed as a colorful and engaging community space, the activation will encourage families to gather, write wishes, fold 1,000 cranes, and capture memorable photos while celebrating the spirit of community. The event will also beautifully showcase the ESGVJCC alongside our valued sponsors from April 10 through May 6.
